We originally started this template for both Joomla! 1.0 and 1.5. However, there are some technology advancements that only Joomla! 1.5 could support so we decided to abandon Joomla! 1.0.

Also, users are largely moving to Joomla! 1.5 as well, so we thought it would be a much smarter choice to go with the flow instead of holding backward compatibilities.

That essentially means that, at least at the moment, there are no plans for a Joomla! 1.0 version for Easygate. Infogate is a Joomla! 1.0 template though, and it uses the same philosophy
